Came there for a root canal and paid almost 1800 and on the phone I was told it would include a filling… but then I found out it was just a one month temporary filling! You could have filled it with a real filling per phone conversation. Quick to take my money before I even had the root canal. You’re dishonest and I didn’t like the underhanded way things were done when you knew I brought all the money I could scrape and you didn’t care

Dr. Chamorro is truly exceptional. I’ve been going to him for over 10 years whenever I’ve needed a root canal, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. The first time I saw him, I was in terrible pain and absolutely terrified—root canals have such a bad reputation—but I was genuinely surprised by how manageable the experience was. Dr. Chamorro takes the time to explain everything in incredible detail. I probably understand about 20% of the technical side, but the way he explains things immediately puts you at ease and makes it clear how knowledgeable, precise, and serious he is about his work. He is patient, thorough, and never makes you feel rushed, which is so different from many medical professionals where you feel like just another appointment on a long list. The office itself is spotless and extremely professional. Karina and Barbara at the front desk are wonderful—so welcoming, kind, and organized. Communication is excellent before, during, and after appointments, and they handle insurance and paperwork efficiently and on time. I live in NoDa, but I will always make the drive to see Dr. Chamorro for my endodontic needs. Highly recommend.

Dr. Chamorro and his staff are so patient, kind, and accommodating. I had a dental emergency requiring a root canal. He made me a same day appointment but we weren’t able to get the procedure done because the inflammation prevented the anesthetic from taking. He prescribed me an Ativan and told me take 800mg of ibuprofen and come back the next day. This was my first root canal and it was a pleasant experience. I experienced immediate relief and I am so grateful. I previously had traumatic dental experiences and I feel like I turned over a new leaf. Special thanks to Karina for hearing my concern and asking Dr. Chamorro to see me the same day. Thank you to Agnes for being gentle and kind. And congratulations to Ms. Barbara on her retirement. I highly recommend to anyone who may have had previous traumatic experiences with dental care. I am so grateful to Dr. Chamorro.
